about Michael MacDonald

My approach to fitness is built on one core belief: strength is about more than what you can lift — it’s about who you become in the process.

Originally from Boston, I’m a combat veteran, former collegiate wrestler and rugby player, competitive powerlifter, and sponsored endurance athlete. My background in competitive sports and military service has shaped my philosophy around discipline, resilience, accountability, and pushing beyond perceived limitations.

Beyond fitness, I hold a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and have professional experience as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), specializing in trauma and substance use disorders. This combination of athletic performance and mental health expertise allows me to approach training with a deeper understanding of the connection between the mind and body.

I specialize in helping individuals build strength, confidence, and presence through developing physical capability. My goal is to help people recognize their potential, overcome limiting beliefs, and build the discipline necessary to create lasting change both inside and outside the gym.

I believe fitness can be a gateway to better mental health, greater self-worth, and a stronger sense of identity. Every rep, every challenge, and every milestone is an opportunity to build more than muscle — it’s an opportunity to build a stronger foundation for life.

My mission is to help people become stronger in the gym, more confident in their everyday lives, and intentional about the legacy they leave behind. Because real transformation isn’t just about changing your body. It’s about changing your trajectory and becoming the generational change you want to see.

Build strength. Build confidence. Build a legacy
